What we think

Our policies are based on shared Nordic interests, and are developed and promoted in cooperation with our members. Our activities are based on the Nordic model. Our policies are clearly Nordic-centred and aimed at amongst others the Nordic Council of Ministers and the Nordic Council, with a view to influencing Nordic governmental and parliamentary cooperation. Our work also targets organisations such as the EU, the UN or the G20, as well as individual employers or countries around the world.

Our policies aim to safeguard the Nordic collective bargaining model, ensure secure working lives and stability on the labour market, and to ensure a fair distribution of shared resources both nationally and internationally.  Trade union rights and human rights are at the core of all our work.
